Job Description:

  • Installing new cabling and equipment such as routers, modems and switches
  • Repairing damaged cables by using hand tools such as wire cutters and pliers
  • Maintaining work site safety by following OSHA norms and wearing PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) while working with hazardous materials
  • Fiber cable patching & splicing
  • Installing fiber optic cables for internet, phone and security systems
  • Installing cable television equipment such as filters, amplifiers, converters, and splitters
