Necessary Steps & Requirements to Establish Own Salon in UAE

  • Submit the documents including your passport and visit visa of yours and your partner’s (If any) to the authorities.
  • Decide Name for the Salon and wait for the Approval by Department of Economic Development i.e. DED
  • You have to sign the Memorandum of Associations
  • Find a Location for your Salon as per The Standard of the Department of Economic Development
  • You have to sign a shop/salon contract
  • You have to get the approval of the Health and Safety Department
  • And then lastly, get all your documents approved and then submit all of them to the Department of Economic Development and you will get your License afterward.

This all procedure may take 3-4 weeks approximately. Then you will be provided with a booklet where you will find all the basic instructions regarding a Salon like room size, partitions, chair size, hygiene rules, etc. Also, male salon license criteria are different from Female Salon, but the overall procedure is the same in both.
