Dubai Municipality Careers – Marine Surveyor Jobs

Qualification:

  • Candidates must have a Graduate Degree in Surveying Science, Civil Engineering, Geology, Cartography, Geography, Marine Science, Engineering and related streams from an authorized University.
  • Good knowledge of geographic information systems, global positioning systems, vertical datum, and spatial coordinate systems.
  • Highly competent in the use of Microsoft Office (MS Office) applications i.e. Excel, Word, Surveying and AutoCAD software.
  • Good experience in managing survey projects in both hydrographic and terrestrial in Dubai.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, acquire and present survey data
  • Testing, preparation, operation, and calibration of positioning systems and survey equipment
  • Ensure that the data collected meets with required specifications
  • Using specialized survey software such as Hypack, Trimble Hydropro NAVEDIT, PDS-2000, Trimble Business Centre and others to manage the processing, integration and presentation of survey data.
  • Offering reliable and accurate knowledge for other streams such as dredging, navigation, oceanographic studies, coastal works, quay wall, breakwater, beach maintenance, bridge constructions and nourishment projects
